Aaron Bryant - the man behind Infrared Solutions and its thermography technology.
Aaron has spent the last 20 years in the building industry. 16 years building experience in Toronto, Canada culminated in his own successful renovation company “Kiwi Kontracting” which specilised in modernising and renovating some of Toronto's lovely old homes and a historical building.Since moving back to New Zealand in 2006, he has trained and become certified in thermography - a technology that he had seen in use in Toronto for a number of building diagnostic purposes. He is now an ITC Level 1 Certified Thermograher who enjoys furthering his education in this field.
In 2008 he also began training as a “HERS” assessor with ABSA the “Association of Building Sustainability Assessors”. This is the government’s new energy star rating system for your home. The "HERS" system enables us to assign a star rating to your house’s energy efficiency in much the same way your refrigerator has a energy star rating.

I employed Aaron Bryant / Infrared Solutions Ltd in 2008 to diagnose the extent of water leaks in my house brought about by a large storm.
I first engaged a Building Inspector with moisture meter to check my internal walls, but he couldn’t reliably tell me where the problem areas were. Aaron brought around his magic thermographic camera and blew me away with it's technology and abilities - that coupled with his moisture meter, Aaron gave me and my builder pin-point accuracy on areas where wet wall linings had to be removed and where to look for the source of the leaks. This minimised invasive inspections and abortive Gib replacement, and saved huge costs on the repair works.
With Aaron also having been a builder, his knowledge of how the house went together certainly helped immensely in interpreting what his incredible techology gadget told him and for giving advice about what to do next. Aaron came to look at a couple of our horses with bloody amazing results! We were able to see a circulation problem in the knee of one of the horses as clear as day.
